I got a wonderful little phone call from Chris at 0230 this morning. He said he had pain in his lower right quadrant...Of course the first thing I thought as "ooh, sh*t, not another appendicitis!!" But after a little over the phone assessment I told him he should go to the ER, but it probably wasn't his appendix.
It turns out it was a kidney stone, although that's a lot less serious, it still REALLY sucks.
Later, Heather and I were adventurous and changed the air filter.
...which hasn't been changed in at LEAST 2 years...
Apparently the old tenants thought that putting different air fresheners behind the air vent would make our apt smell better....NOT. 
Is this normal??
