Day 72: I love Sunshine!

Another great day to sit in the sunshine, and get random stuff done.
After dinner I was inspired to make something delicious.....
....YUM!

Day 71: Clinical?

I was supposed to be at clinical today from 8-2:30, but my nurse let me leave at 9:15!! So, I went home, relaxed, studied, read, and basked in the sunshine.Ooh, and I ate some Moose Munch.

Day 70: Mondays

The weather kinda sucked today, but it looks we're gonna have some awesome sunshine soon!!
After class I was feeling creative, so I made some pizza pretzels. (it's pizza in a pretzel shape).
Clearly I got better as I went along. What a delicious dinner.

Day 68: Driving

After doing some studying at home I decided it was time to head back to Milly to get things settled in before hectic class starts back up. I have a test Monday...Yikes!These trees are pretty, but man do they smell bad.

Day 69: Studying

Quote from my teacher: "Wait, when did we start talking about hernias?...I'm not done talking about balls..."

I haven't shown ya'll what my plant looks like in a while.Impressed? I haven't killed it yet.
I had to add supports so it wouldn't fall over.

Day 67: Relaxing

A long day of reading and studying.
Dad got home from LA and we went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse, it was delicious.
Mom has a stomach virus, sad day. Feel better mom!

Day 66: Girl's Day

The Girlies!
Amy's secret place in Ikea.
We went to Ikea, had a delicious lunch at an Asian place, and walked around Atlantic Station. Fun girl time!

Day 65: Beautiful Sunshine

After a late night of watching The Big Bang Theory, we got up late and took the puppies for a walk and played with them at the park. Angel was about some fetch....Ricky is above fetch.
I learned that Amy's house and Peter's house are 10 miles from each other, which is great!
I headed over for some fun with the girls for a day.We made stuffed shells and salad for dinner, and some rice krispy eggs for dessert. YUM!I found Holly a boyfriend....This is Amy's doggie, he's a big wiener.

Day 64: Surprise!

I came home today after finishing some laundry at Chris's place, and surprised my mom for a bit. I then headed over to my friend Peter's house to hang out and watch a super amazing show.

We played with his doggies.
This one is my favorite, Angel. This one is Ricky, Peter's doggie. This is Holly...This is Sheldon.
Peter's dad made salmon and salads for dinner...Delish!This is actually what is in the Perozzi freezer....
Yes, they actually cut out the instructions of one box and keep it in the freezer at all times, and discard the actual boxes to optimize space. It made me lolz.

Day 63: On our way home...

We saw some interesting license plates on the way home...

Day 62: Why is it so windy?

Sadly, it was super windy and cold again today. We ended up just hanging out and playing video games, watching movies, and hanging out for most of the day.
We went to a souvenir shop and had some fun.We did go out to eat later. It was so horrible it was actually comical what all happened. Apparently they don't serve their salads "cold cold" but just "cold" and the chicken is "room temperature" because it feels "warm" compared to the "cold" salad. What the heck?!? Those were the actual words of the cook at the place we went. I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to serve room temperature chicken, b/c its against the health codes.... Ooh, and apparently you have to ask for shrimp and sausage in your shrimp/sausage gumbo, b/c if you don't, they don't give you any. What an interesting night.

Day 61: Beach?

First official day of Spring Break
The boys playing Munchkin. It was hilarious listening to them argue over elves and treasures. It sounds like a little kid game, but there's so much strategy and politics involved. This game takes forever too. Us girls went out and went shopping and got some groceries, which took at least 2 hours, and they were not even half way done when we got back. Chris found his chair and called "dibs" for the weekend.
We went to the beach and threw a football ball around for a while while some others tried to fish. Unfortunately the wind was too strong, and it made it impossible to actually fish or even stay out there. We were too cold. :-(
I taught everyone how to play speed scrabble, and it became an instant hit. I love that game.

Day 60: Bring your GF to work day....

I woke up early with Chris and went to work with him. I sat quietly in the back conference room and worked on my process paper while he worked in his office. I got a TON done b/c I didn't have internet access. It's amazing how much I goof off when I have internet access.Getting gas before we head out on the 8 hour car ride.About 2 hours into the drive.
Anyone else think this is funny? Ooh nursing school, you have changed the meaning of everything.

Day 59: So close!!!

Clinical today, then I'm free for Spring Break!

Day 58: Disappointing

I went to lunch with some friends after class today and that was fun.I was so excited to eat my delicious peach!!
But it was all mushy on the inside and brown. Gross.

I pretty much finished packing for my trip. I'm so excited to head to the beach on Friday with Chris!!

Day 57: Early morning food!!

Emma and I woke up super early and went to Chick-fil-a at 6:30 for a free sausage biscuit before we went to placement/clinical.Is that straw up your nose? You can tell we're not awake yet.
We did a scoliosis screening for the 6th and 8th grade of Putnam Co. It was easy and fun, and we got out of clinical at 10!! That's the earliest we've ever gotten out.

Day 56: Bananas

Funny Quotes from today:
I don't want a band-aid b/c the blood is on my hairy part...............................of my ankle. - Chris
I must have been sleeping with my eyes closed. - Emma

Went to class, worked on Process Paper, did some shopping at Wal-Mart.These bananas are as bigger than my head!!

Day 55: This won't hurt a bit.

I got the greatest request today, and for the record it was NOT my idea.
Sadly I did not get a picture because my camera was still dead, but I got to wax my dad's neck.
Time changes really do mess you up, it took me almost all day to realize that I was actually an hour behind. After driving back to Milledgeville, I drove over to Gray to hang out with Chris. He fixed my broken hard drive, HOORAY!

Day 54: 48 cookies don't last as long as you would think....

Today was a super great day of more bargain shopping, and hang out with the family. My friend Peter came down and I gave him his Christmas present....it took long enough, but the wait was worth it. Sean, Peter, and I had a blast grocery shopping, and concocting a delicious dinner. The three packs of cookies didn't hurt either. There were so many "Kodak moments" today but unfortunately my camera died right after I took this picture.
Does anyone else see the "funny-ness" of this picture? Sean's hands are HUGE,and he got the smallest fork in the drawer to eat his key lime pie. haha.
We watched the majority of The Big Bang Theory Season 1 and had way to many giggles. I think my abs almost got a work out from it (although the cookies probably negated all of the calories I burned while laughing).

Day 53: You're late for a very important date

Wow, it's good to be home and just relax.
I got to sleep in and cuddle with my sweet puppy.Mom, Sean, and I went on a bargain hunt, and boy did we find some great stuff. I got a swimsuit for $15, some flip flops, a silicone wire wisk, a new hug pillow, and an awesome shirt! What a great day of bargain shopping. I love T.J. Maxx and Marshall's; they have everything. We even got to go to Red Robin for lunch, and my craving for a delicious burger was fulfilled.Sean and I had a brother/sister date and went to see Alice in Wonderland and even got to play some games at Dave and Busters.I love my brother, he's pretty awesome!I said "make a funny face," I guess he was making sure I wasn't just trying to make him look funny. I guess the joke was on me.
We like to goof off.

Day 52: a very long day

Clinical Day!
I finally got my process paper patient. The good news is she has like everything wrong with her, the bad news is that this will make my paper super long!
After a very long day I got in the car and drove home to Snellville.I was greeted with my lovely cousins, and American Idol at 8pm. Great night!

Day 51: People watching is fun.

After my test this morning I finally made myself go to Wal-Mart to get my tire fixed. I ended up waiting for about 2 hours, so what else was I to do besides people watch. This cute old man danced when his phone started ringing. It made me giggle. The bad news was that the tire was not able to be patched, so I had to get a new one. Also, they told me it was going to be $65, then rang up at $120, and I was like "WHAT THE HECK!" Apparently she misheard what they said, and they put the most expensive tire on the car. I was not ok with that. So after getting them to fix it, the cheapest one they could find that would fit my car was $85. I somehow managed to talk the lady into $70 instead. So, lesson leaned, they do negotiate at the Wal-Mart in Milledgeville. Esp. if you smile real nice at the guys that are working on your car. Yes, I'm a horrible person.

Day 50: I can't believe I ate the whole thing!

Ok, so I didn't eat the WHOLE thing, but almost. And let's be honest, it was almost gone when I started. The main thing was that I was super lazy and didn't want to get a bowl out b/c that means I would have had to clean the bowl.

Day 49: Sunshine!

,Today was the first day in a while that the weather was absolutely gorgeous! We didn't want to waste time studying inside, so we headed to front campus to catch some rays and get our knowledge on.Of course, what happens when we all get together, and the weather is nice....not school work, that's for sure. Hehe. I love them!I did attempt to study, some. Good thing Amy was brought her lap top, she was able to look up random things for me. We learned that basophils actually contain heparin in them....cool fact!
I think the best part was every time a class would get out, Ansley and Amy would turn around and focus their attention on finding the perfect guy.
Great day!

Day 48: Is there something in my teeth?

Emma has introduced me to some new gum.
It is delicious. It is also black, which catches you off guard.
I am getting some energy back, which is good because I have a lot going on this week.
Love ya'll!!

Day 47: I just want to eat real food.

Another fun day of studying.
I'm so proud of all my nursing friends who passed their Exit exams! They're awesome!
Now they just need to pass their knowledge to me, por fa!
I've decided that while Chris is out playing paintball, I would really like to eat some real food. Not sure what I'll come up with, but McDonald's is really close.....

Day 46: Back at the Clinic.

I'm still not better. I ended up going back to the clinic today, and they finally gave me an antibiotic, so hopefully I will be tip-top soon.Nothing too interesting going on, just the usual studying and homework.

Day 45: I even ate my vegetables!

Why does technology hate me? My computer wouldn't turn on for about 45 minutes. Then I finally got it to come on, but it had to run the hard drive disk check, which took an hour. Then it failed, so it had to run it AGAIN! Another hour gone! After the second check was over, it didn't turn back on. Did I mention I haven't backed up my files for over 7 months?? Who's the dummie now? Sad news is that I will probably have to get a new hard drive.
I love spending money on things that should not be broken after owning them for only a year and 2 months! (note the sarcasm).

Day 44: Roaches are loners, they do NOT travel in packs.

Ok, maybe I'm crazy, but I love how fast this thing grows!Look at it!I had a very scary moment when I entered the bathroom. Luckily my wonderful roomie Emma was there to save me.
