Day 288: Sick

I tried so hard to wake up this morning to be on a normal schedule for the rest of the week, but I felt so nauseated, all I could do to keep myself from throwing up was to go back to sleep. SO, that messed up my whole "try to see the light of day" plan. oops!

Day 174: Driving in the Rain sucks!

I am starting to feel better today, but still am very drained.

Mom and I went to run some errands but I got very tired.
After a lot more studying and resting I headed back to Milly.

I found Snuffles today....we had a reunion.

Day 173: Sick

Lots of studying going on today.

I am still feeling sick, and poor Peter is SUPER sick.
Since I didn't do anything besides sit in front of my computer and memorize facts about theoretical frameworks in nursing research, I figured you guys would want to see something other than my computer screen...again...

Day 48: Is there something in my teeth?

Emma has introduced me to some new gum.

It is delicious. It is also black, which catches you off guard.

I am getting some energy back, which is good because I have a lot going on this week.

Day 47: I just want to eat real food.

Another fun day of studying.
I'm so proud of all my nursing friends who passed their Exit exams! They're awesome!
Now they just need to pass their knowledge to me, por fa!
I've decided that while Chris is out playing paintball, I would really like to eat some real food. Not sure what I'll come up with, but McDonald's is really close.....

Day 46: Back at the Clinic.

I'm still not better. I ended up going back to the clinic today, and they finally gave me an antibiotic, so hopefully I will be tip-top soon.Nothing too interesting going on, just the usual studying and homework.

Day 43: You ate the whole wheel of cheese?

Woke up this morning and felt SOOO much better. I can breathe, and hear, and talk, and swallow! All important things in being alive.I also did some ironing, because it's my favorite.

I decided to make spinach balls for dinner, but when I was straining the spinach it all spilled out of the pot and in the sink. GROSS, so I had to go all the way to the store, again, to get more. dang it!

Day 42: Test day!

So, I haven't slept in 3 days, I feel miserable, and I had a test today. Apparently being sick works for me b/c I got a 96 on my Peds Exam!!!!

I went to the clinic after my test, and they affirmed that I am indeed sick. I got all these meds and a shot. The nurse practitioner looked in my throat and said "WOAH!" LOL I guess that's when you know you're really bad.
Let's hope that I start feeling better soon, because I go to the OR Thursday, and I don't want to be sick for that.

Day 40: STUDY

I woke up today and was miserable. My wonderful boyfriend went out and got me some drugs. :) Thanks for taking care of me. These became my new bffs.

It was a pretty lazy day that included laundry and studying for me. Chris played Halo, so he was occupied during my lazyness.
