Day 314: AfterSchool

I stopped by AfterSchool today just to say hi, and remind my former boss that I was graduating soon and need a job. It was perfect timing, because I was actually able to stay that day and substitute for one of the teachers!

Loved seeing all the kids again. It has been so much fun watching them grow up over the past 4 years.

I even got to work with my buddy Amanda!

After work we came home and ate way too many french fries, made snickerdoodles, and watched He's Just Not That Into You, and the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

Day 313

Peter came with me to milledgeville last night to keep me company since I had class this morning. It was great to have him along. It always makes boring not fun stuff exciting.

When I was shutting off my power at the GA Power office, we saw this car.....

That's a lot of air fresheners.

I also found these sweet luggage items at TJ Maxx.

Day 312: Deck the Halls

I went to the Perozzi residence and helped them put up their Christmas tree and decorate it.

I am so blessed to be marrying into a great family!

Day 311

Peter had his hair surgery yesterday and is healing very well. He has lots of polka dots.

I love my brother! I swear he has gotten taller.

Chores/errands.....but they're fun when you have your fiance and brother around.

Day 310: Black Friday Madness

The stores opened so much earlier this year. We went to Wal-Mart at 1030 and they had already started the sales, even though they weren't supposed to start until midnight, CRAZY!

We got our traditional DVD purchases.

Sean looked a little like Gus-Gus carrying them all stacked up.

I love that I got 11 movies, and only paid $22 dollars. LOVE IT!

We stopped by Old Navy, but they were slammed. There were so many people, that they had to go into the stores in shifts, so we passed on that one.

I also found a great deal for a Nintendo Wii at Best Buy. The deal was that they only had 15 in the store, so I said "hey, I wonder if I can buy this online for the same price" Guess what. I can, and I did! I am now a proud owner of a Nintendo Wii, I've wanted one FOREVER! (I just have to wait until December 3-9 for it to be delivered). That sure beats standing in line. There were people literally camped out in tents at Best Buy at 830 pm. That is Nuts!

Day 309: Gobble Gobble

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am so thankful for my family, friends, and especially my wonderful fiance, Peter.

I'm so happy he's home.

We ate SO much food today. We all cooked something delicious, and had a wonderful feast with the family. I even got to go see Peter and his family for a little bit.

Sean and I went through the sale papers and planned our attack, just like every year.

I can't wait for Black Friday!

Day 308: And now we wait for July 14th

I babysat again today. These kids are great. I only had the youngest, and he's so adorable.

Peter and Sean came home today. I'm so happy to have my boys home. I love them so much.

At the last minute we decided to go see Harry Potter 7 at the Mall of Georgia....at 12:10 (midnight). Even though we didn't get out of there until 3am, it was totally worth it. GREAT movie. This is the first one that they actually stuck to the book fairly well. They even brought in some characters they overlooked in the past movies. I can't wait for July to get here even more now. The second half of the last Harry Potter movie comes out then, and...aaaahhhh!!! It is going to be incredible.

Day 307: Babysitting

I babysat for 3 kids today. They were absolutely great, and super easy. I loved every minute of it. I can't wait for Peter to come home tomorrow. I miss my fiance! We have a LOT of planning to do for the wedding, and I've been waiting on his bum for it. I don't think we'll

get anything done on this short break though, it'll probably all have to wait until December/January.

Day 306: 30 minutes

I can't believe I drove to class (2 hour drive down there) to sit in class for only 30 MINUTES and then had to drive back (2 more lovely hours and one tank of gas). I don't know why we had to show up to be given a website link. We could have done this over e-mail, and not had to waste all of our time and money. - rant over.

Thanksgiving is quickly approaching, and I can't wait to purchase DVD's. I hope they have good ones this year.

Day 305

A peaceful/lazy day.

Day 304: Freedom!

Pretty sunrise as I drive home from my last night in the emergency department as a student.

All of the staff were so great, and my preceptors were amazing. I was so blessed to have such a wonderful experience there.

Day 303: LAST DAY

Today is the last day that I ever have to walk into a patient's room and say "Hi, my name is Meredith, and I'm a student nurse."

This is so exciting! I can't believe my 240 hours of clinical experience are up.

I was going to get a picture of the Emergency Room sign, but it was too dark.

We made a decision on where to do our engagement pictures....OH BOY are we excited!

Skittle is keeping my spot warm for me while I'm at the hospital. She's has definitely become a great snuggle buddy, and she's SO warm.

I made a Pumpkin roll...It looks more like a loaf of bread right now, but I promise it's got cream cheese rolled up inside it. It was delicious!

Just a typical night at the White House

Jolie decided to do my hair....and take my camera.....she took like 50 pictures and 7 videos. I'm sure you are all dying to see what all she documented. Those videos might come back to haunt her when she gets older. teehehe.

Day 297: Baby Elliott is almost here!!

Meagan's Baby shower was today.

We tried to guess how many pieces of toilet paper it would take to fit around Elliott.

I love/miss these girls soo much!

Also, this sign makes me laugh, because the man that does all of the set construction is named "Doug Beers".... Beers Construction = BEST THING EVER!

Day 288: Sick

I tried so hard to wake up this morning to be on a normal schedule for the rest of the week, but I felt so nauseated, all I could do to keep myself from throwing up was to go back to sleep. SO, that messed up my whole "try to see the light of day" plan. oops!

I finally got some closed toed shoes today. YAY! my little piggies thank me a lot.

I went to Wal-Mart at 6am this morning in attempts to get some discounted halloween candy......fail.

All 4 isles of candy were completely empty with 50% off tags hanging on the bare shelves. I was so sad.
