Day 250: A day of Relaxation

Day 249: Sleepy time

I got home and this is what I found....apparently someone was waiting for me to go to bed.

Day 248: 2nd 12 hour shift

I'm tired, but still excited.

Good thing adrenalin is awesome.

Day 247: First 12 hr shift

I met with an awesome photographer today.

Then went to meet my preceptor

then went to Peter's house to rest before my first night of practicum.

I even got to take a nap in his bed.

I miss him.

Day 246: I just want to go to work!

GRR still minimal contact made.

My teacher told me to just show up tomorrow. We'll see how that one goes.

I have my packet ready.

Day 245: Houston, we've made contact.

I called/e-maile/faxed my day away, and finally I got ahold of someone.

I even went to both Gwinnett Medical Centers to track down my infamous "student id/parking pass". Gabbie and I drove all over the freaking world, and raced to finish everything under 20 minutes at GM - Lawrenceville because apparently you have to pay for parking, and they won't validate. We made it out with 1 minute to spare.

It was a successful running through a huge hospital, not knowing where we're going, knocking on random sketchy looking doors, trip.

Oh, and I bought new boots!

Day 244: I can has a Preceptor now?!

Still no word, until about midnight about some random urgent forms to complete, a witness signature, and stuff to fax.....and all I get is the preceptor's e-mail address....which turns out to be incorrect?? Really!!

I need a phone number!

At least Skittle is happy about something....she probably just went through the garbage can.

Day 243: You've got Mail

This made me so happy.

Day 242: The Park

Today I watched my two cousins for the day. We had a lot of fun going to the park, playing games, and even watching a movie!

I even taught them that if you spit in a pond the fish will try to eat it and come to the surface. Why do I have a feeling I'm going to get in trouble for that later.

Love them!

I hope that when they are older they remember these fun dates together.

Day 241: Help, I'm trapped!

See my little friend? This little adorable hummingbird was trapped in the house. He eventually ended up in my bedroom behind my curtains, so I went and caught him. Yes, be jealous, I got to hold a tiny little hummingbird. It was SOO cute, and it went "eep" when I picked him up. It made my heart melt. Don't worry, I let him go.

Day 240: Surprise!

Sean flew home from Philadelphia to surprise Marc for his birthday, and to see his show.

Lightening came to pick up Sean from the airport.

Marc was SO surprised, it was adorable!

I made Pizza Cake for Marc's Birthday!

Day 239: The big merge

I spent almost 3 hours today at the Apple store trying to transfer all of my stuff over from my old dead computer to my new awesome one.

Everything that could have gone wrong, did. The technician was very nice, and honest when he said "I've never seen this before."

After lots of trial-and-error we made some progress, but I was given "homework" to finish the transfer of pictures when I got home.

Everything worked as far as I can tell.

Day 238: Crash and burn

Today my computer decided to die....it has officially bitten the dust.

I was in such a panic and completely overwhelmed when it happened.

I didn't know what to do, and how to afford a new computer. I told myself when I bought the old one that I wouldn't buy another crappy computer again...I swore to get a Mac. So I desperately looked in my savings account and looked online at the MacBooks.

I could barely afford anything.

After all of this stress, the situation resolved itself when my Dad, the most awesome Dad ever!, said he would buy me a new computer as my graduation present!!

Now all I have to do is Graduate...

...and figure out how to use it!

Day 237: More "bars" in more places

Today I went and signed a contract at the venue where Peter and I will get married.

IT WAS SO EXCITING! I CAN'T WAIT!

Day 236: So Close!

My pharm exam is tomorrow! study, study, study.
I got to take 7 more days off of my paper chain!
It's getting shorter, hooray!

Day 235: Daddy Daughter Wedding Shopping Date

Dad and I went to look at a couple venues today.
It was a successful tripI think we found where Peter and I are getting married!

Day 234: Dearest Emmita....wake up!

I'm so sad I didn't get to hang out with my favorite Emma today, because she was frantically trying to get paperwork done so she could get married.sad day

Day 233: 1024 Slides

Module 10...i am going to kill youalso, i realized i look like a fatty because i have a jar of peanutbutter sitting on my night stand.....and i frequently scoop a little out to enjoy.....

don't judge me.

Day 232: Paperwork!

I peed in a cup today, and filled out like 100 pages of paperwork

apparently my pee is worth $79.00
hopefully this means I will get to go to clinical on Tuesday next week.

Day 229: boring

My blog has gotten a bit boring, but I blame it on the fact that I'm in school, studying a lot, and usually sitting in one location for hours on end staring at books/computer screens/notes.

Also, my adventure buddy is in Chicago, so I dont go do lots of stuff without him.

Day 228: study

Dad and I put the bunk bed back together today, hooray/I miss my bed at school b/c it's huge and doesn't have anything on top of it for me to hit my head.

We also went venue shopping for a little bit.It's so overwhelming/expensive!

Day 227: late nights

After a very long, stressful, tiresome day, I decided that I needed key lime pie and chicken pot pie...apparently I was in a pie moodso... i made pie at midnight. (key lime pie was in the refrigerator at this point)skittle was jealous.

Day 226: Ice Cream Date with Dad

"I'll trade you this super cool 'flashlight' ice cream cone for yours that still has lots on it" - DadThis trick used to work on Sean when we were younger, but he could never get me...I loved ice cream too much, even back then.

Day 225: need chocolate

After a long day, I got want I needed most....some time to talk to my man, and chocolate.
